Question Tire variation??

This morning on my way to work I hit something on the highway with my front driver side tire then... blam! Hit my rear driver side, instantly my tire warning light came on and I knew I blew a side wall!!

Sure enough on my titanium package rims there was a good chunk/little crack at the rim!

Question... I had about 30% tread left on my tires, my full size spare is brand new with 100%. Is it wise just to get all new tires and see what they can do with my damaged rim?

ANY HELP/INPUT would be greatly appreciated. My poor Audi!!!

NOTE: I WILL TRY AND POST A PIC TOMORROW.

Hey, if you can get 3 tires brand new that match your spare, you should do that to save the cost and then you can put the rim with the damage in the trunk for emergency use (put one of the other tires on that rim since that one is blown). Since your car is an 08 they should still be producing the same tires. Just remember with the quattro you always should have matching tires and rotate them regularly for even wear.

also, if you are looking for a nice all season tire Yokohama Envigor is on sale right now. They are really good (high speed rating, and 40K mile rating). Good luck!

Give centro Autopro a call for your damaged wheel. They fixed my bent 3pc wheel for about $100 ::::Central Autopro::::

And +1 on the suggestion to get 3 new tires and put the repaired wheel in trunk as spare. Good advice.
