Question My new Audi today in Edmonton need advice locally?

Hi just drove my 2002 Audi A4 3.0 V6. It is in mint shape and I would like to keep it that way. I was wondering if anyone could recommend Edmonton mechanics or shops that you would recommend to service the car?

Anything from Oil changes to wheel alignment to brake or exhaust. Or even tune up's or just regular check ups?

I live on west end but am willing to drive to that one mechanic who is honest and does know how to take care of my new car and does not charge a arm and leg?

And also if anyone have any suggestions where to buy parts in the city?

Cheers

Thanks Moosehead I phoned them today, prices for Oil change seems not completely over the top like Karmac on the West End. I have a Volvo for the wife and every time I went there would quote one price and charge way more than that. Shop supplies, etc.. you name it they would rip you off. And service not so good either. Stay away from there if do not wanted to be over charged.

Sorry for negative comment but happened on more than one occasion and never fixed problem. Said forget and bought own code reader.

You can try West Side Auto. They have been servicing Audi and VW for two generations.

I've been happy with Eurasia in the past, but haven't had to use them in quite a while. Just got back to driving an Audi.

Spotted a small coolant leak under the S4 the other day.....

I might be looking for some servicing myself right away!

I generally hate dealing with the dealerships: huge $$$ and not fixed any better than other shops. Off warranty, I avoid them like the plague, wherever possible.

Hi I spoke to Eurasia they seemed to be quite knowledgeable. Let me know how things turn out. And where you go?

They're on the southside, don't remember the new location's address.

Welcome to Audiforums.ca.

My first (and likely last) experience with Eurasia was with a dead miss on all cylinders.
Paid $150 for them to diagnose the problem.
They quoted me another $750 to replace the PCV valve (5 hours!!).
The part was $42, and it took me an hour to do it in my garage.

Maybe I should just work out of my garage for $75/hr fixing Audis...

Been doing all my own work on my old ones for a long time...

If you want another opinion, try Ben Dekker at 4 Star Motors- 780 433 8646...74Ave and Calgary Trail.
