Default How to easily clean your rims?

I find it a back breaking task every time I clean my tires and especially the rim ( brake dust )
Please share your idea!
Anyone knows of an easier way?

Thanks!

1. order yourself some Sonax Full Effect or P21S wheel gel from eshine.ca
include the sponsor code 'audiforumcanada' in the coupon/discount section for a few bucks off

2. spray on wheels

3. let sit for about 10-20 minutes

4. hit each wheel with a pressure washer on the 'fan' setting

5. marvel at how well that just worked

To make the next cleaning a breeze, do a super job cleaning the wheels, dry them off and then 'wax' them using a wheel sealant - this keeps the dust off a little bit. I use Poor Boys I think. works well. Then washing is a breeze...just a few minutes with a mitt and all four are looking good. The pressure washer is pretty damn effective too.

Just washed our 8 Audi wheels (all are 7-twin spoke RS4 style) in about 20 minutes today, and 10 of those minutes were waiting for the wheel cleaner to do its work. Only bending down I did was to spray the wheel cleaner on.

I would also replace those horrible OEM metallic pads since they produce more dust than effective braking!
Just replace them like I did with Ceramic Akebono and some Zimmerman rotors from Auto Parts Way Canada. You can also opt for Hawks HPS and you will enjoy way longer your clean rims and have some additional bite to your brakes!
