Default running/signal light mystery

Hello!

My daughters 2003 TT has a yellow strip light under each headlight. Only the left one stays on solid when she has her running lights on but both work as indicators? I have tried changing the lamp but it still won't work? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have a similar issue on my 2003 B6, the parking lights works on both sides, but only the left turn signal works, right side does nothing

as far as I have looked it up, its the Turn signal relay that likes to get all confused, in most cases its just dirty and needs to be cleaned. The Turn signal relay is located behind the Hazards button in the dash, I am not sure about the TT, but should be the same as the Sedans

Hopefully someone who has done this can chime in and clear it up for the both of us, as I am still relatively new to my car and am still learning.
