Audi TT Roof Rack

I just purchased a roof rack for my 2012 TTS to carry my skis. The car manual clearly shows bolts hidden under the window seal for the rack to hook on to. The roof rack also shows the same bolts. But I cannot find the bolts! Am I losing it or am I looking in the wrong place?
