VCDS Disable "Winking" DRL LED for Q5
Up next, get rid of the "Winking" DRL LED when your turning signal is in use. A little less detail this time as it follows the same format as the convenience windows post.
In controller 9-Cent. Elect. using the Long Coding Helper and selecting Byte 3 you want to make sure Bit 7 (Daytime Running Light inactive with Turn Signal ("winking") active) is unchecked. (You can see below that the default setting on my car was that Bit 7 was checked.)
Once you have exited the Long Coding Helper and chosen to Do It! in the Recode Module, your LED DRL will remain on instead of turning off while you are indicating.
