Default SQ5 Cornering Lamps

My wife's 2014 VW Tiguan has automatic cornering lamps integrated into the fog lamps. Does Audi offer this? Can it be programmed? Initially I thought whatevs but last eve I drove her car and they actually help quite a bit when turning into parking lots etc. Let me know. Thanks,

They are integrated into the main lights in the corner lamps. Lights turn with wheel and inside corner lamps light to each respective turn.

You need a vag-com to program anything and also this should be afeature that is enabled with the headlights already.

SOOOOOO....... they CAN be programmed with the VAG-COM? Great, thats what i was looking for. I think if they were already enabled that they would illuminate when I turn my wheel.........NO?

If you got the feature then yes, I doubt that this feature would be disabled from the manufacturer. I just think you have the regular self leveling xenons and not the tilt/cornering or whatever they call it

Ok, so you dont know.

If I had the feature, I would know, you are correct. I doubt the manufacturer would disable a safety feature, you are correct, you "think" I have the self leveling xenons or tilt cornering or whatever. You are correct. You dont have a clue. Thanks for your help.

Ok, so you bought a car and you dont know what you got! Great lets start there!

Stop being rude, everyone here is here to help one another. If the lights dont corner check, when they are self leveling on startup you dont have the feature! Does that help? Read what I wrote and then comment, prior to assuming what I know and do not know. You can enable it via vag-com but if the motors for cornering arent there it wont work.

Go read a few other technical posts of mine and let me know if I have a clue.

Read first post........." Cornering function in fog lamps" this is my question. I do not have cornering headlamps, this I know. Again I will ask my question, can the cornering illumination be turned on using VAG-COM in the fog lamps, I don't want to know about headlamps, got it?

This is dependent on the speed at which you are cornering. They only kick in if you are going slow enough. I can't imagine it being hard too hard to test. It's not an option on the SQ5 so you have it.
