There is a thread already devoted to this topic - Delay in Delivery. As you noted - a high visibility thread with lots of posts and views. How many more do we need?

I'm not sure who you are addressing your post to. My original post was asking about peoples' experience with current transit time from Halifax to Vancouver. I did not see anything in other posts addressing this.

I was responding to Mikeh. The thread specified does have several posts about transit times from Halifax, although none specifically dealing with Vancouver.

We have just been advised that our Q5 will be arriving in Halifax on May 18. Anyone know how long it takes to truck it over to Toronto? The dealer won't comment at this point. I was thinking two weeks but perhaps longer? Think I ordered a brown on tan 2.0T Premium Plus but it's been so long... Looks like I will need another lease extension for my A3.

Two weeks is about right, maybe a little less if you're lucky. Add a few more days for PDI and you should be driving it.

It looks like our Q5s will be on the same ship. It should be the ship called FAUST, leaving BREMERHAVEN on 04/05/2011 and arriving in HALIFAX, NS on 16/05/2011 (voyage #CA118-FAT). After clearing customs, they should leave Halifax on the 18th or so.
