Re: Q5 lava grey
I don't think the colour has changed. I have a 2011 Lava Grey, and have seen picutres of 2010s as well as 2010 in person.
The reality is that Lava Grey is a pearl effect, meaning it changes colour subtely depending on lighting conditions.
Its beautiful. Sometimes appearing a but more purple, other times a smoky charcoal.
At night it looks black.
Amazing colour.

Re: Q5 lava grey
Good luck in your search.
I think meteor grey is another colour i personally liked.
its a bit more of a bluish grey. very nice as well.
there are some colours that are not available on all model years, for example teak brown only became available in 2011, while at the same time other colours are taken off the list.
of course you can get any colour you would like audi to paint a brand new car if you pay a bonus of $2000 or so to pick from their catalogue.
that might be worth it to get a colour like sprint blue or imola (yellow) which normally appear on sportier models like the s4.
