Hi Everyone,

I just received my Kufatec module this week for my 2009 Q5. I had my trusty mechanic install it. Unfortunately, I was not able to close the hatch with the remote.

The software version is correct SW 1.48, part 33801. All connections were double-checked with a voltmeter.

In the Kufatec instructions that came with the modue, it says to open and close the hatch press the remote open and close button simultaneously twice. Can anyone verify this? Or do you just push the lock button twice as per this thread?

Any trouble shooting ideas would be appreciated!

The instructions I received with my Kufatec module indicated that you can use either the unlock button or lock button to activate the module and close the hatch. As seen in the video link in my original post, I pressed the lock button twice and the hatch closed. The hatch will also close if I press the unlock button twice. After reading your post I tried pressing the lock and unlock button simultaneously twice and it does not activate the module in my Q5. If you haven't already done so, I would suggest trying either the lock or unlock button twice, not both buttons simultaneously.

Hi Regina TTS,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried the pressing the lock (and unlock) buttons twice. The hatch did not close.
I will contact Kufatec next week.

Hi Tony,

Kufatec suggested that I switch the CAN looms black/white-black/yellow. I had that done and it worked!

It operates like yours.

Glad to hear you got it worked out. Its a super handy add-on, although it's a feature that should be built in tot he car.
