Q5 Audi care

Re: Q5 Audi care
You can always buy it before the first year or 20,000 kms are up.

Re: Q5 Audi care
My dealer throws it in, but I'm sure it's built into the price somewhere. If you aren't able to get the sweet deal that CanadianQ5Prem got on his, you should at least be able to try and leverage free Audi Care from the dealer.

Re: Q5 Audi care
Check to see if the company you work for is on their SPP list. If so you'll get 3% off MSRP and free care package. That's how I got lucky.
PS. To answer the above, oil change and tire rotation with tax and all will be just under 200 dollars.

Re: Q5 Audi care
This will make you sick...my dealer has just thrown in the Audi Care FREE on top of my $2,000CAD discount on the Q5. Reason being, I bought a VW GTI a month later (which I got a $1538CAD discount) and referred a friend too, who bought a S5 from them. So I think they were having a good numbers month lol...

Luckyrob or CanandianQ5Prem,
I know this might sound repetitive but is this at a Canadian Audi dealer where they took $2000 of the MSRP price and Free Audi Care for 4yrs/80,0000km (Usual cost of $750 CAD).
Please conform thank you!

Yes. $2750 discounted (because they have to show $750 for the Audi care option on the bill).

Re: Q5 Audi care
This might be a bit off the Forum topic but somewhat related...
Has anybody tried negotiating an Audi using a "canadacarcost" or an "apa" report before buying their current car or SUV. I guess in this case the Q5? Just wondering if that actually works with audi since these reports reveal the dealer's invoice price of the vehicle and the real options prices as well. Here are the samples that both comanies offer. It would be great if they knock off $2k off the price without the hassle.

Re: Q5 Audi care
I used CarCostCanada and was able to negotiate 2.5% over wholesale price including a Supplier Purchase Program discount.
MSRP=$56,400
Discount=$3,395 (6%)
Net Price=$53,005
Wholesale=$51,720 (from CarCostCanada)
(figures excluding taxes, freight/PDI, and fees)
This was for Q5 Premium with Nav, B&O, 19" wheels, and Tech.
I thought the report was well worth the price of it. It gave me a number to target (knowing a couple percent over wholesale was reasonable margin), and when the negotiating got tough, I just pulled out the report and made it clear how much over wholesale I was willing to pay. In my opinion, a valuable tool to have.
