Purchasing Q5 - Toronto Audi Dealer Recommendations
After almost a year of looking and doing research I am now ready to purchase a 2011 Q5 3.2 Premium equipped as follows: Lava Grey with black interior, Nav Pkg, 19" Wheels, B&O Sound System, Burl Walnut Trim, Adaptive Headlights, Trailer Hitch, Rubberized cargo mat. I have yet to make up my mind on Audi Care. I am leaning more "for" than "against" but will research this more at my local dealer i.e. total cost of service for 100K km vs. Audi Care @ $750 (I drive approx. 20K km per year).
My plan is to obtain FIRM price quotes from Ottawa, Kingston and Toronto. As one thread has already discussed I also don't anticipate Purchase vs. Service to be a problem.
I would like to hear from any members who have recently purchased from Toronto Audi dealers and have had a positive experience. I will probably narrow my search to recommended dealers. I realize getting a salesman that you feel comfortable with and who is being honest has a great influence on your view of the dealership so maybe I will be as lucky.
I have heard that after negotiating a price you may find your offer sheet contains several additional fees e.g. OMVIC, fuel, tire, etching, nitrogen. I expect admin. fee (varies by dealer) plus destination, prep, license and air tax. Any experience with these other fees?
Appreciate any info you are able to provide.

I had great experience with everyone in Downtown Audi (where i got my car) but you should probably talk to Alex who works out of the 'ssauga location.
Great combination, that's exactly what I drive in 2010 model with back exterior brown interior. OH and I don't have a hitch. Good luck. Try your BEST to get them throw the Audi care for free.

I was able to get a very competitive quote by e-mail from car4u.com. They deliver from a Toronto dealer (I don't know which one).
I have a car to trade in, and couldn't work out a fair price for the trade with cars4u.com, so I signed locally. If you are just looking for the best price with nothing to trade in nor establishing a relationship with the dealer, go with cars4u.

Also, there were no (not one!) add-ons from cars4u.com. No admin fee, etc. Just Freight and PDI ($1995), Air Tax ($100), Tire Tax ($35), and HST.

I always had great experience with Pfaff in Vaughan. PM me for more details (i.e. which audi brand specialist) if you want. Since you are obviously located in Ottawa and you are shopping around, I guess Kilometers do not really matter. You should consider Alex from Audi Mississauga as mentioned before!

I bought mine via Alex @ Mississauga after shopping around quite a bit- found him to have the most straight fwd and honest approach. I called Mark Motors in Ottawa 3 times with no call back - huge disappointment in their sales capabilities and they were rude to my wife when she called and inquired - even with my Father-in-law as a long time customer. They feel they have a monopoly and can do what they want - my humble opinion only

Has anyone tried Best Price Express? Canada's lowest new car prices | Best Price Express
You choose the new car and options you want and they negotiate the "best" price for you. You then go to that dealer to pick up your vehicle.
I believe the cost is $199 for this service. If you show them you got a lower price for that vehicle then they will refund your money.
Not bad?
