Re: Potential Q5 owner, help me find a deal
You will probably have to order it in. The Calgary Audi dealers have A4's for 59000$ Laughable pricing. I think they checkoff every box, and maybe make up a few more.

PM "afretes" he's with Audi of 'ssauga.
For a loaded 2.0T on the road taxes and all that in with navi, sun roof sline etc.. you're probably looking anywhere from 61-65K out the door. A car like this you probably want to dress it up. Go to the Audi.ca website customize it and work your way from there. Depending on where you work (what company you work with) you might be entitled to discounts so mention that when you go in. Take your time and go to a few different dealers. Search this forum good there is lots of posts already about what others have paid.

Re: Potential Q5 owner, help me find a deal
I ordered my Q5 in September 2010 with the following spec:
- Q5 2.0 T Premium Plus
- Black on Black
I am going to pickup on Friday (Jan 14th).
I got an excellent deal. Talk to Tre Johnson at Audi Downtown Toronto.
Since the day I met/ordered the Q5 and till now he has provided excellent service.
I also ordered for splash guards, then I wanted to see it on the vehicle.
He asked me to come today and look at it on the vehicle. I did and decided not to install it because it doesn't look good with the splash guard. (personal opinion).

Hey Evilwabbit - For the model and equipment you ordered a good price is approx. 52-53k all included.
- Not sure if I should say as this is an Audi forum, and don't get me wrong, I love my Audi Q5..
but BMW redesigned the X3 for 2011 with a new 8 speed transmission, new 6 cyl. turbo charged engine which can produce 300hp and 300 ft./lbs of torque at 1200rmp ?? 0-100km in 5.5 sec. -A new suspension and enlarged interior.
I haven't driven it yet, but plan on doing so just out of curiosity.
My opinion, I still don't like the styling, and i'm sure gas consumption is much higher than the Q5.
If you do go test drive it, -please let us know how it went..
Good luck to you!

Re: Potential Q5 owner, help me find a deal
evilwabbit,
I've got exactly the same configuration as you're contemplating about. 2.0T Premium, black on black and only sunroof, bi-xenons and iPod interface as extras.
I've negotiated $1,000 off and my all-in price was $52,000. I end up getting Audi aftercare and paint and interior protection after I signed the deal, but still was able to negotiate 10% off the aftercare package.
Your negotiating power is somewhat laughable when it comes to buying a vehicle that in such a high demand, but you can certainly try. All you have to say is that there's more than one dealership selling this car and if you can't get a good price here, you'll go someplace else. Make sure you do visit a few dealerships, and the further from Toronto you go, the earlier you get your car (I'm speaking in GTA terms of course)
Good luck with your search!

evilwabbit, dealer allocation pool is very important in Q5 orders. Don't forget to ask for it. You could negotiate great deal but wait 4 months for car or get worse deal but ended up waiting 3 months or so.

Re: Potential Q5 owner, help me find a deal
Thank you so much for all the post above guys
Just a follow up questions in regards to the "extras"
Are these all standards across all audi dealership?
I have heard of a few in the list but never heard off Ontario Tire Stewardship (5 tires) $29.20
Globali.com registration program $195
What are they?
So every brand new car is going to be charge with the following list below?
