Hello and already asking for opinions !
Do you guys mind if a user from the lower country posts ? ! ?
Youse guys seem knowledgeable about this new little Audi 'wagon'
Maybe I'm not looking in the correct place, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of talk out there about this new Q5 we bought..
I say WE bought, but of course, she picked it out and it is HER commuter car, so I have only driven it for an hour at most !!!
she already wants to 'personalize' it with new wheels and tires and exhaust system - too quiet for her likes !
Any ideas on exhaust to make it sound good and strong? wheels and tires ? we have the stock 19" Conti's but she thins she want to fill up the space with 20" and road tires as she will never go offroad
And wish there was a softcopy of the manual (like on ALL my other cars !) so I could search for my answers instead of reading for a week

Re: Hello and already asking for opinions !
Dunno about a softcopy manual. Check out AWE Q5 - Audi - PRODUCTS for their exhaust offerings. With respect to wheels, Tirerack.com has a very useful site for obtaining info and pricing as well as a configurator to see wheels on the vehicle.
Good luck !
Good luck !

Hello and welcome to the forum once more. Anyone can post here you're alwasy more than welcome.
As Steve indicated above, there are now lots of great exhaust products for the Q5.
For a manual check out this thread:

Re: Hello and already asking for opinions !
AWE makes an exhaust for the Q's, no idea of thier quality, but the tone is nice. Q5 - Audi - PRODUCTS
As for the wheels, I like VMR, some don't I do and I have a set in 18" for my winter tires wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzac DM-V1's. VMR's don't need hub rings for the Q5 and the Audi Centre cap fits right in like it was made for it... VMR Wheels by Velocity Motoring - Aluminum Alloy Wheels for German Cars Conti makes an excellent Summer tire Extreme Contact DW, they are quiet and have good to excellent user feedback ratings (including my own). Good in wet or dry, total ***** in snow, ice or cold weather, be warned. Only problem I had with the Conti's were they were too hard to source in Canada. Tried to get a set for my wifes car, but there was a 4-6 month wait in the USA at the time and they were too expensive in Canada, so we went with the same tire but in all season. Excellent tire, and well worth the money. If you don't need the all season, go with the dedicated summer tire, I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
As for the 20" wheels, it's personal preference. They will offer a much stiffer ride when compared to 18", but they look oh so much better IMO.
