I think we in Canada have a huge benefit over the US buyers. Our 2.0T has basically all the options available in a 3.2 with the benefit of better city fuel economy and a small advantage in price point (approx 2k).

With premium gas costing $80 a tank right now, i am glad i am driving a 2.0t. Probably over the next year or two I'll look at either the statis or APR ECU chip to make up the performance difference, which still will leave an overall savings of about 1K.

It will be interesting to see if a 3.0T enters the market, 280-300HP adn 280-300 tq.. that vehicle would be a beast!

Interesting to see small differences with mine.

Front lights don't seem to have LED? (Are LED 3.2 specific or part of the "Plus package"?)

Center display (between tach and speedometer) is red LED. Mine is color. Is this Navigation specific?

Did 500km this weekend with my new Q5 (took delivery last Friday noon) and I quite love it.

The 3.2 is fantastic but still have that background thing about not having chosen the 2.0T. Of course I will never have the answer.

As for the price, when I did the exercise, the difference between the loaded 3.2P I wanted and the similar options on the 2.0T was about $1,000 only. Maybe, in the US it is a bigger difference between the 2 choices.

Marc

LED headlights are also available on 2.0t premium package, it's an option though. had to dish out $900 for it.

Automobile Magazine also had a 2010 Q5 3.2 for a full year, as part of their Four Seasons test fleet. The 2010 Audi Q5 - Four Seasons Wrap-Up covers the last installment.

The reviews started out glowing for the 3.2, but as they ran into reliability problems the tone became more sober. Here are the articles in order of appearance:
