Another question from a newbie
Hey guys.
Sorry to be asking a newbie type question but this is my first time to own a diesel vehicle and while I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of my 2010 Q7 TDI, I've been trying to read as much info as I can on the vehicle.
Is it true that I will need a fuel filler adapter for the diesel nozzle to properly fit? I thought the diesel nozzles are bigger than gasoline nozzles? Someone from another board said that European diesel nozzles are slightly smaller than North American diesel nozzles and that's why they don't fit really well. If this is true, I would've thought that Audi vehicles destined for the North American market would be fitted with the proper size fuel opening to accomodate the right nozzle size. And if I need an adapter, is this something the dealer has? Anyway, I'm confused - so someone who owns a Q7 diesel please chime in. Thanks.
