2014 Audi SQ5

Personally no, and they won't be installed on my SQ5 until October 25th.
The individual I spoke to at Essex was extremely knowledgeable though and very familiar with the SQ5 and stated that they had test fitted these wheels as well as a few others.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
Do you mind telling me which 19" wheel you ended up going with, since Hartmann has two versions of the 19"?
a) 19" ET25
b) 19" ET38 with 3mm spacers
I'm flip flopping between the 19" and 20". I hope you can post up some photos after the 25th.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
I was also interested in the 20" wheels but was told that more sidewall in a winter tire is better than less.
I will definitely post some photos after I have them installed on the 25th.

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
Just got back in from driving it. All I can say is WOW. I'm absolutely floored by the performance of this thing.
I am very interested in the discussions above concerning winter rims and winter or AS rubber. Even in Vancouver, I'm hesitant to leave the summer slicks on through the winter. We don't get a lot of snow, but we do get ice. I'm waiting for some quotes back from Audi on wheels+tires. They recommend going smaller (18-19 inch) for winter to provide better handling in those conditions. It is really not my area of expertise, but smaller = cheaper, so I may be okay with that!

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
Going down to a 18 or 19 does make sense in theory, but if you are in Van, you'd be more than fine with a performance A/S. I prefer a 20" on the Q5 just for the looks. It's still a beefy enough sidewall. It becomes an issue when you start getting down to a 30/35/40 series tire. At least, that's been my experience. An Audi OEM wheel is going to run you a pretty penny. If I were you, I'd give the guys at Essex Distributing a call and price out a set of Hartmann's. I think they are in Richmond. Might even be worth a drive over there.
I think the guys at the Audi dealership will push you on a 18 or 19 because that's all they really have. Hartmann has way more options for a fraction of the price. They aren't exactly OEM quality, but they get really good reviews from those running them.
Lastly, congratulations and it's great to hear you are blown away by the performance. I'm itching for January to get here! You are lucky you could play the dealerships off each other. Both Calgary dealerships are owned by the same guy. They got this market locked down!

Re: 2014 Audi SQ5
- Navigation Package w/Parking System
- Estoril Blue Crystal Effect
- Aluminum/Beaufort Inlay
- Rear Door Sunshades (my kid is gonna love me!)
- Bang & Olufsen Sound System
- 21" 5-Double Spoke Design Wheels
I think it will be everything I ever wanted in a vehicle, and possibly more.

The Aluminum/Beaufort Inlay's are absolutely stunning.
I have them in my SQ5 and they are truly amazing.
Congrats on your purchase.
