Hi,

My latest information on the SQ5 is the base price in Canada will be approx. $59,900. There will be two models to choose from. The Technik model is basically the only one of the two that will allow you to include things like the B&O system etc. Looks like there is a base model/Progressiv and a Technik model. There are still many options you can add to the base model as well. For instance on the base model the camera is not included in the Nav Package just the sensors. However in their Nav Package for Technik model there the camera is there. Things like Homelink, Push button start, Advanced Key and 3 or four other options are only available on the Technik version. Anyway hope this helps give you some info. Cheers

The Progressiv model is basically the Q5 3.0T Premium model with a multitude of additional standard options including the S Line package, Multi-function 3-spoke Flat Bottom Leather Steering Wheel, Xenon Plus Headlights and the Panoramic Glass roof to name a few.

The Technik model will include all of the Progressiv model standard features in addition to the following: Advanced Key with Start Button, Heated Rear Seats, Homelink, Audi Side Assist and Adaptive Xenon Plus Headlights (Q5 3.0T Premium Plus model).

Your base Progressiv model price of $59,900 sounds pretty accurate to me which should therefore put the price of the Technik model less any additional options at around the $ 62,500 - $63,000 mark.

I think with stereo upgrade and a few other options this car will run closer to $68,000+ but we'll just wait and see. Am also considering the S4 2014 as I have just run across an article suggesting it may have 350 hp. Something to consider.

This SUV will be available in Canada in October 2013. Each dealer has been alotted - maybe 5 or 6 is my understanding for the year. I may stand to be corrected on this but that is what my reliable source has shared with me.

The 2014 S4 in Canada will retain the 333hp version of the V6T motor, don't let that stop you from pulling the trigger on one. Unless you are keen on the Black Styling Package (Titanium Package), which will be available for MY14 (Model Year 2014)? Hope that helps you out.

The number of SQ5's a particular dealer is allotted has more to do with how many 3.0T Q5's they've sold the year prior and at what rate, in this case MY13. Dealers are not simply assigned 5 or 6 or 7 units each. Naturally the larger dealers will sell more 3.0T Q5's, hence be offered more orders of SQ5. This relationship is directly proportional, as it suggests they will be capable of selling all of the allotted units.

Official pricing for the SQ5 has not been released just yet even though the first batch is sold. I've been checking in everyday as I've got a few people waiting. Should be any day now, hope to advise soon.

Cheers,
Paul

Awesome.

Thanks Paul. I'm assuming that custom orders will be able to be placed very shortly?

Custom orders began to be taken prior to pricing being released, so I suppose the answer is yes. Go for it now
