2012 Q5 Prices Paid ?!
I was at the BMW dealership last night and took an X3 for a ride - and was hoping to get an idea on what a Q5 would look like.
unfortunately the canadian build q5 is offline ... was just wondering what the prices were like?
when I priced the 2011 out I posted my results here ...

was just wondering if I can expect the price to be any different for the 2012?!? also curious what you guys picked up a 2.0T for? - I imagine there isn't much dealing going on?!

Re: 2012 Q5 Prices Paid ?!
My personal opinion here but I think they best way to save money is to skimp on the option and get custom installation after. I am going to sound like a total newbie with some of the stuff I say because I am not sure what all the packages entail.
I am not sure if the S line package offers anything other than body modifications. I know my Q5 is not S line but I still have the Audi drive select option and the 20" s line Rims. I think the biggest thing with the S line is the Grille and the 20" rims. You can request to get the s line Grille (not sure the cost) and get some rims somewhere else. I find Audi rims to be bland a lot of the time. I am not sure what there 2012 S line rims look like though.
I find navigation to be useless. I would rather get a portable after market navigation system that is portable and more easily updated. I am not sure if you still need to get the navigation package to get the LCD screen and the rear view camera. If you want an LCD screen you can get that put in after market somewhere else and it won't cost you anywhere near $3,200.
When I got my Q5 the B&O sound was a $1,000 option. I heard they were going to reduce that. If they have that option is probably worth the price.
The panorama sunroof is nice and it seems to be something that people notice and comment on but I have never really made use of mine and never notice it when driving. If I had the choice for $2,300 I would do without.
After market modifications are more work but they save money and give you a more unique look and give you the ability to get what you think looks nice.
