2012 Q5 - Electrical "storm" - all warning lights come on
Hi,
After nearly 4 months waiting, I recently picked up my brand new 2012 Q5 at the beginning of September.
One week into enjoying my new ride, I experienced an odd behavior where after starting the car, all the warning lights came on and stayed on. Also, the RPM gauge would bounce from 0 to 2 without a smooth motion. The signal indicators inside the vehicle would come on then go off (outside seemed to work okay). The car appeared mechanically okay and was drive-able. I captured this on my BB (but can't post the link here - newbie on the forums)
The first pass thru the dealer - they thought it was a loose cable (but no direct evidence) so they sent me on my way. It happened again two weeks ago. Went back to the dealer and the car has been with them for the past week as they do diagnostics. They see all the warnings recorded when they did their scan but cannot determine root cause. They have performed a "full reset" and I have to drive the car 100KM and return tomorrow to continue diagnostics.
I thought to post and see if anyone has seen this before or has any suggestions.
