2012 Audi Q5 2.0 or 3.2?
I'm ordering my Q5 within a week and I"m not to sure which motor to get.
What are your reviews and experiences?
Does the 2.0 have enough power for winter driving (driving through snow, etc)?
How is the acceleration for both? Fuel Economy?

Hi Irocco:
Welcome to the forum. Q5 is a fantastic vehicle. As you know the 3.2 version came out in 2009 and the 2.0 Turbo version came out in 2011. There is already TONS of threads on both engines particularly the 2.0t. I encourage you to use the search box on the top right of your screen.
I've looked through the posts and have selected a few below for you which I believe will answer your questions.

Can you open another new posts with the same question
Technical information, please visit Audi (speeding, consumption .....)
Is the 2.0 enough power for a Canadian winter?
The first time I hear something like what is winter and the power of the car?
If you think you should have a strong car for driving in snow you do not know anything about cars.

I never had an Audi or import vehicle before. I had a 4x4 which had enough horsepower to get me through the snow on the road. I don't know much about the AWD system on the Audi.
Your tone in message seems condescending - Like you never asked a dumb question before or communicated it the wrong way. I thought the purpose of these forums was to discuss and find out information and help out others....
All I can say is this - I had a Jeep and everyone was friendly on the their forums regardless of what was asked.

When I made my first post it didn't show up so I posted another one. After submitting the post both showed up.

When you buy something new best go to the manufacturer's website to learn about the technical details then ask for opinions of customers on the forum.
I still do not understand what has a power car and driving in the snow
Is you might think if the engine is more powerful that it is better for driving on snow??
Small correction you have not written two, but three post with similar issues

Re: 2012 Audi Q5 2.0 or 3.2?
Have you test drove both of them?
Before I purchased my new A3, the dealer let me take the Q5 out for the experience, and I must say, it has plenty of power all things considered. Put that together with the fact that Quattro is arguably one of the best AWD systems out there... I think you'll be just fine in the winter.

My vote, after much consideration, is to go with the 3.2. Silky smooth, efficient and powerful. Take them both out for a long drive and make your own assessments, but for me the 3.2 was the way to go with the Q5. Cheers!

Re: 2012 Audi Q5 2.0 or 3.2?
I test drove the 3.2 and thought it was amazing. The Audi dealer only has the one Q5 so I'm not able to test drive the 2.0. The dealer told me that people can't tell the difference and majority go for the 2.0 as it is more fuel efficient.

I can't believe some actually said "people can't tell the difference" I've driven them both and the difference is HUGE. Different engine different transmission. Each good in their own ways.
