Forge Diverter Valve.. Installed in REVERSE?
Hello everyone, I own a 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro, and I bought the Forge 007 Diverter Valve and I have heard about installing it in reverse. I have been researching it for days now and still haven't found the benefits if it. I also have other questions..
a) Does it make it louder?
b) Does it make you faster?
c) Is it bad for the turbo/engine?
d) Do I need to use a spacer that came with the diverter valve? I am guessing it pushes about 8 PSI stock.
e) Also, will I benefit from changing the springs to a stiffer one?
f) If I install a cold air intake, would I need a breather filter? This is the smaller filter for the AUX air pump hose that is attached to the factory air box.
g) Is there anything I can do to make the stock exhaust louder?
Basically I want to know why it would benefit to install in reverse. Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
Thanks,
Giuliano.

I would say install it the way it was engineered, reverse installation could either bleed pressure when not wanted or worse, not dump boost when throttle plate closes.
