Default First few upgrades

Hey guys, this is really my first "tuner" car, that I plan on doing some work on.
I bought a 2002 A4 1.8T and I am just curious on the first few upgrades you feel would be important?
CAI? ECU? Exhaust? Pipe?
I am not to sure what to do first, or were to start really. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

your upgrades depend on what your goal is.

if you want a bit more power, a chip (+/- bigger injectors) is a good first mod. exhuast will get you a bit more power after. CAI doesn't work for our cars unless you want to get carbonio, and even then, it's not too worth it unless you have money to burn. you can upgrade to a slightly bigger turbo like ko4, but if you want the biggest baddest power possible, skip everything and go BAT.

for me, i want a balanced ride with good handling, so my first mods were sways, suspension and wheels. i'm getting bbk's next. all this and my engine is still stock. i'll eventually go GT28R, but that's much later down the road.
