ECU flashed tune and TD1 mark on dealer (void waranty)
Hello everybody.
Just considering to have ECU Malone tune through FlashZilla.
Still have some warranty and wouldn't like to loose it. Definitely will be flash to stock before visiting dealer for any case.
Is anybody who did ECU upgrade, get flagged as using tune (TD1 mark on file) while being back to dealership with stock flashed back after tune?
Is that possible to have two ECU - buy ECU for same year and model, flashed with tune and used it and put back original ECU when visiting dealer?
Will it work?
Thank you.

You are in Ottawa.
there are no mod friendly dealers in this region.
In the event that your vehicle needed a firmware update through the dealer VAGCOM, they will often try and trick you by asking..... If your vehicle has software modification it will be erased after we do the upgrade to your vehicle.
some people fall for it and say - nooooooo don’t flash the car.
bam.
so, take your chances.
no matter who says you can flash back to stock and erase entries, there’s always a way to tell....... you just need a motivated dealer mechanic or a pissed off service writer and you are done for.

I know about count flashing attempts... thanks anyway.
and people who provide firmware update said that and as I know as soon as attaching car to VAGCOM - Audi server check it automatically... my warranty end in November 2018, but there still another 4 years of warranty for power train because of TDI modification by AUDI... just keep me thinking. Thanks
