Did you scan the ECU for any DTC's or fuel trim issues? that will help figure it out.
If its making a new strange gurgling sound, it could be your DV dying, it just happened to me and the only DTC it threw was MAF signal high. similar sounding symptoms with the stalling etc.

The stock DV is a cheap plastic valve that probably cost no more than 38 cents to manufacture, but the dealer wanted $125 for it and cheapest at any auto parts store in the area was $80. You can get very inexpensive all metal and adjustable ones on eBay, so i went that route- $25 shipped.

Actually it turned out the DV was only a minor contributor to my sympoms (identical), the major cause was a dying MAF sensor. its an easy thing to check, you can pull the connector off it (it's in the air box) and the ECU will then ignore it and run with backup fuel maps instead. if that cures your symptoms, you just found the cause.
It's safe to drive without the MAF a little, but if its bad, change it asap as fuel economy will suffer, as will the CAT, and the engine may go too a bit lean or rich so don't drive it hard while the MAF is disconnected.

Yeah i think i know where my MAF is... i changed my intake to for a nicer one. turbos work alot more now. but the problem was before i even changed my air intake.

thanks alot for reply.. for sure im going to change those parts since they dont cost that much.

oh btw. I am buying an other audi... 1998 a4 manual 2.8 ... smashed front might need a bit of fram work... but i bought the dam car for 1200$ and all the rest is frikin good shape.. apart the front end smashed... parkinglot acident...(not me) lol
any advice... like ge rid of it.. or do this to it... the engine remark has 200k on it.. but my friend said it doesnt take oil and runs like a charm... was planning to swap it anyways...
