Newbie/ first timer DRL issue

Hi Guys, Just imported my first A4 from LA up to Edmonton here, thought the daytime running lights were operating, but there not. I see from the posts that it's a programming thing & nothing needs to be "hard wired".
I see that the shop in Winnipeg is great, wondering if any one knows of a decent shop here in Edmonton & can get introduced too.
I love the car & wish I got one sooner.
Looking forward to a long happy life as a Audi owner
