New From Hamilton
Hi everyone.
I haven't got the car yet, but I have purchased it.
It'll be in my driveway by next weekend.
It's my third car and it'll be my daily driver to and from work, but if budget and circumstances allow for it, I'll be doing some performance tuning and other stuff to it in a little while.
I'm eager to learn about this car and I'll be doing most of the work either by myself or with the help of a friend who is a mechanic.
I own also a 1993 Mazda RX-7 and a 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! you are in the right place as the golden horseshoe group is pretty active with meets and doing events. normally every 2 weeks on the Tuesday we do something. meet up for wings or an event. check us out under the Eastern Canada then choose Golden Horseshoe and check out some of the events/pics and what not.

Thank you for the invitation!
We'll see how it pans out, I am pretty busy, but I'll keep in touch and follow what's happening.
I would like to learn about the car more and browse some online parts stores...

Re: New From Hamilton
Sounds good.
I am going to do a full sweep around, inside and out and come up with a list of things to do.
I do know that the door handles finish inside of the car is worn out and frankly, it looks pretty bad... I am surprised that it would happen to a car of this level.
I have a similar finish on the dash parts of my RX-7 and other than a few scratches where the previous owner "missed" the seat belt latch and hit the centre console, the whole finish is intact and the car is 18 years old.
I have looked around and it seems that the only two choices are replace or refinish.
I am going to look into the problem this week when I finally get the car.
Of course, if you have any suggestion or ideas, please let me know.
The interior is tan (unfortunately, I am not a fan, but...)
