My first Audi.... 2010 S4 Premium package
Hi all. My name's Kevin and I recently purchased a brilliant red 2010 S4 from Texas (Prestige package in US, same as Canadian Premium package). Will be picking it up very soon. I test drove a new 2011 S4 2 months ago and fell in love with the car and the hunt was on to find my new car to replace my Zoom Zoom (2002 Mazda Protege5). My friend referred me to a dealer who imports cars as well, who has provided me excellent service so far! I've attached some pictures which were sent to me yesterday..... I'll post more once I've picked up my new baby. Have a great weekend everyone!

any reason you went to Texas to find one? Is there a price advantage? Or just a greater number of available cars?
I figure with US new price starting at 47,000 and the CDN price starting at 53,000 it's pretty much a wash. Once you add 6.1% duty and about $1500 in shipping/importation fees you're at $51-52,000 for a US base car. Negligible difference and one that will surely be erased when resell comes up.
Further, buying in the US means you can't offset PST with your trade in car. Might even cost money now to import. Crazy how times have changed in just 3 years since I imported my car.
