Hey all,
New the forum, as stated I just placed an order for a 2010 A5, 3.2, S-Line, Monza Silver (I loved this car ever since I saw Iron Man lol...)...should be coming in the middle of December, so it's a graduation/birthday/Christmas gift rolled into one for myself

I gotta get a set of winters, so just wondering if anyone has any tips to where to go. I got a couple of quotes all 17": Audi dealership $2850 (Pirelli Sotozero Serie II)
@ a different store (the Tire Warehouse) $2347 Michelin PA3, $2500 Dunlop 3D

All of quotes have the 5-spoke wheels, where as, the Tire Warehouse have the replica R8 wheel. I haven't checked out the Audi Dealership as the shipment will come in about a week or so...

I'll start a new thread for the tires/wheels, but can't wait for my car to arrive!!!

I have a Q5 S-Line on order that comes with 20" summer tires. Since I expect it to arrive just before the snow flies, I ordered winter tires on rims already.

I bought them from tirerack.com

I ordered Blizzaks on 18" rims. The rims are sweet and most will think I paid way more than I did. I have used tirerack twice in the past and the service and pricing is unbeatable. The chrome rims were less expensive than buying black winter rims, so why not look have a good looking vehicle in the winter too.

Look what came in a month early!!!

The best part was that a R8 came up behind me on the highway so I moved for him to pass me by...started to tail him and decided to look @ my digital spedometer...165 Km...got a little scared since the car hasn't been broken in yet...lol...but wow, rides sooo smooth...

Just graduated from the University of Lethbridge...they have an off-campus here in Edmonton, so I was going there part-time and working full-time...

 

Congrats on the car! Loving the rims. Gotta love the sleek lines of the A5.
