Automated Car Wash for Roadsters

Automated Car Wash for Roadsters
I don't mean to horrify any of you TT convertable owners but I was wondering if any of the public facilities available across Canada would be acceptable for use once in awhile?
I am really speaking about the top. I have found the Cdn Tire touchless car wash to shake the top too hard and that can't be good for it long term. I am afraid to try modern Petro Canada washes or others unless I hear from your experiences.
I should explain that I have never had a soft top before to care for and I understand I shouldn't be so lazy, but cleaning is not so easy in the winter. Any other advice on cleaning or care of the top would be appreciated.

I never go to the automated places, in the winter I find a coin-op place near me and when it gets to 0 or a few degrees above freezing I rinse it off quickly and quickly dry with gloves on haha, or if i'm lazy just get it into the garage quickly.
I wait for spring for a thorough cleaning.

Ok, I get it now. I know we love our TT's -so from now on I will keep mine out of harms (automated) way. So again, any special advice on cleaning the top....... Do I just give it a regular spray and try and keep away from the windows, or use a clean brush on it?
Not advanced questions mind you but my toy is new to me.

In the winter it depends on how dirty it is, I tend to rinse it every week or 2 again depending on dirt and temperature, wouldn't want the car to get frostbite haha
