Re: Aftermarket custom fit GPS & Entertainment unit ( from EBAY )
Hey Matt,
I recently came accross this thread after looking at the various Units on ebay. I pretty much had all the questions that you have provided answers to. So, thank you for being very through with your review
I was wondering what your thoughts of the unit are at this time? Still the same? Had any issues with anything? Did you ever get around to trying out the rear view camera?
Thanks again.

I still have the same unit and I love all the features. GPS is great, I use the IPOD all the time, I did put the rear view camera on and it work fine and comes on screen automatically when you put the car into reverse.
The complaint I have and I cant say the only one because its a big one is the audio quality. Its fine if you are listening to normal volume or just the radio but if you're in the mood to blast the music, you can tell that its not a professional unit with crisp clear sound.
Everything else is great including the look, it looks like a factory setup and even the button lights match the other lights in the car. So yes I am happy with it but i can also be a lot happier with the sound quality (noticeable at higher volumes). Would I buy it again? yes because i feel there aren't much alternative if you want that clean stock look with all the features.
Hope this helps.

Out of curiosity, how/where did you mount the rear-view camera? From what I've found, that wasn't an option you could get from the dealer to have done. Would you happen to have a link the the one you purchased, or any instructions on setting it up?
Thanks again,
