So I bought a set of sumitomo tires not even three weeks ago and have put maybe 2000 miles on them. The front are bald...and I dont mean chopped and uneaven with flat spots, I mean bald. The back two look like I just put them on. Needless to say I will battle with the shop tomorrow because I put them on by their recomendation.

My question is what is a good all around tire. I use my car for work as I am an ad sales rep and drive all day. I am however a spirited driver at night so would like something with decent traction. I have spent hours looking but its always up and down as far as what people like and dont like.

Any suggestions would be great.

 

I've always stuck with michelin tires....Anytime I purchased any other brand, I always regretted it...

My Santa Fe has just had a new set put on, and the previous set of Michelins were great all around (grip in dry, wet and snow, super durable)....They lasted 100,000KM before they needed replacement.
