this is what i just ordered
OEM timing belt made by Continental
OE tensioner Roller made by NTN-Japan
OEM tensioner assembly made by NTN-Japan
OE Idler roller (comes on the tensioner assembly)
Hepu water pump with metal impeller
Accessory drive belt
Thermostat (Wahler)Kit does NOT contain anti-freeze
ECS/OEM motor mount bolt kit (4)
Cam seal (new updated PTFE seal lip design)
Crank seal
Ruville is the OEM manufacturer for V/W & Audi for many of these items in fact the tensioner assembly that comes in the Ruville box is a OEM part with OEM insignia's & part #'s

Are you planning to do the kit install yourself? If not, let me know who you get to install it as next year it will be my turn on my TT. I'd like to know if there is a decent place local, does AMI do this sort of thing?? I had H2Sport do my previous Jetta, they did an excellent job at a fair price, but I think they prefer to provide the parts kit when they do it.

how much did it cost for the jetta??? how much do you think it will cost for the TT ? no clue nvr done a timing belt before...nvr had a car this long lol

My Jetta cost me around the $750 range, but that included the parts (tensioner, belt, waterpump, ect). It took them about 5-6 hours to do the job. I'd be kinda wary about doing this job yourself unless you are quite mechanically inclined, mess this up and you can kiss your valves & pistons good-by. If you go to the dealer I'd think it's much more expensive, but let me know what they quote you. Otherwise, I've often seen several Toronto area VW/Audi performance shops advertising this service, check on VWvortex under Canadian-regions-eastern-ontario forums. Hope this helps, good luck.
