ok here's the deal i have a 2000 audi tt and when its cold outside and i go to start up my problem none of my guages work on my cluster..... and none of my buttons light up in the center or on the radio ...... the minute my car gets warm and has been running for awhile all my guages turn on and everything works.......

 

I have heard TT's have had some issue with cluster problems, not sure how common it is or if it's within a certain year range or not. Have a look at the post called TT cluster lawsuit in this TT forum, it sounds like what you might be experiencing. Good luck and hopefully it won't cost you a bundle at the dealership.
