Default Front bumper / skirt replacement for 2001 Audi TT

Hello everyone,
I have cracked the bottom part of my front bumper, which i believe is callet the skirt. Is the skirt something that I can remove and install without having to replace the whole bumper? Because, I've called several places and they can only get me the whole front bumper, which is $1317 CDN, plus paint. I'm looking for an easier and cheaper way to get it fixed. I'll try and upload some pics soon.
Advice, anybody?

as far as I know the bumper is all one piece. You may want to look at after market options. When mine needed replacing I put the Hofele GT one on. More money but gives you a unique look.

No the bumper is not one piece, the bottom part is called the LIP/CHIN/VALANCE which clips in to the bumper and holds the plastic grills. but you can find one on ebay or other places for under 300 cnd. and its just matter of paiting and clipping it on.
