when you do your install, just compare the old and new strut mounts. If the old ones are compressed then chances are there was play in your suspension and might be what's causing the clunking sound.
If you are installing the suspension yourself (as I would be), I would replace the strut mounts first, go for a drive to confirm the clunking is gone, before installing the rest of the suspension upgrades.

OBTW it cost me less then $800 in parts! not too bad i think. got the H&R sway bars for $450 lower ball joints $63 each, control arm bushings kit $82, strut mount kit $13 each, rear sway bar link $27 each, front sway bar link $25 each...
think im happy...but we will see!

ive got lots of race part payed for and not on the car...this would be good for you! im in no rush and not trying to sell it... but if someone wants to buy it, it will be gone.

Hi Jazz. Did you ever find the problem? Am curious what it could be. By the way would you be interested in helping organising a TT only get together drive for the fall season ? I think it would be great to have a bunch of TTs together. Your thoughts ?
