Default 02 noise in engine bay...and Intro

First, Hello to everyone , Im a longtime VW enthusiast in Kitchener and do most all my own work . I recently sold my 74 Porsche 911 and found my TT, love it! Been reading this forum for awhile now and notice a difference , people actually answer questions here dont really see the 72 comments..

Now my question maybe 2, when i turn ignition on and then off get out of the car I can hear a quiet humming clicky noise near the rad area, i see no fan on, i then start the car , shut it off the noise is gone

Id appreciate any help

I was told that the oil pimp continues to run to lubricate the Turbo. Don't know if this is true, but if it is, it sure makes good sense.
