Default 01 225Q - Broken driveshaft carrier bracket?

I have found a 225Q and the owner claims the car runs but does not drive because there is a bracket that bolts up to the block and sounds like it hold the driveshaft from the trans to the rear diff. He says this bracket has broken or ripped out of the block and it needs to be welded back on? This doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone confirm this is possible or have a exploded view of mechanical drivetrain.
Price will reflect the work needed if it doesnt need a new new engine all together

SOunds possible but will be a major repair issue/bill. What other problems may exist? My advise, walk away there are a lot of good TTs out there with minor or no problems for a good prices. FWIW, Dennis.
