Just a reminder for this coming Tuesday May 11th. We will be touring the country side and the escarpment roads for a bit ending up at Casablanca Blvd Tim Hortons around 9:00 pm. I hope to have someone with a VAG COM attending. Also we will be discussing the great initiative of PhinX404 to start up a BB Group as an information sharing tool. Guys I couldn't get away last night I was at a retirement function that ran till 10. Pissed me off that I couldn't make it as I live in Grimsby. I plan on attending the next meet. It would be much easier on a weekend as I am much busier during the week.

 

Thanks again Mikeh for setting up! was another fun evening even with the rain and the drive was pretty sweet too!

 

Sorry I couldn't make it. The wheels go on tomorrow. The real question is, how low should I go...

wheels would be nice! i just got screwed once again on my rims... been delayed once again and have waited 6 weeks now and they say 1-2 more! i said FU! so now im looking for rims again! fun fun

 

Wow! tonight was a great night and really enjoyed putting some faces to the bbm members! burn outs that were going on at hutches was fun but got a little crazy. the Viper that almost ended up in the ditch was pretty funny!

Look forward to June 1st! we should decide on the Saturday event or sunday and a nice cruise to the falls with all the audis lined up and do a lunch/bbq/family day.

 

Ya that was crazy. Suprised the cops didn't show. I'll try and make it out June 1 however it will be tough sell as I am going to a business conference on May 30 & 31. I wouldn't mind an early Sunday morning cruise to say Niagara on the Lake or somewhere similar. 10+ cars would look great.

 

Well as you can read and probably guess we had a great time last night at Hutches. We managed to get there early enough so that we didn't have to park in the burnout lane and risk having our cars smashed into. Yes there were plenty of burnouts taking place by Hondas, Mustangs, Cavaliers, a hopped up Firebird (Clay's dream car) motorcycles and I believe even some very unusual looking bicycles!!!

One of the highlights of the night was the young fellow driving the Viper who lost controls trying to show off. He first went one way then over compensated the other way and almost ended up in a ditch or into a nearby pole. We were close enough to see his panicked white face. I swear he pissed his pants or at the very least his *** was puckered up tight.

The main highlight was getting six (thats right 6) of us out on such short notice. We enjoyed watching the lunatics, and were amazed on what kind of cars people spend huge amounts of dollars on. We shared what mods we have done and which ones we are planning. Most of all we shared a common bond as Audi owners.

On tuesday June 1st. we will discuss and plan on having regular meets on a day that best suits the majority. I think a cruise day with a BBQ is definitely in order sometime this summer. Also don't forget we will be discussing and deciding on a track day as well, for those who want to experience the quattro around a track.

The police did show up last night stopping many of the cars and checking them out. Their presence cleared out the parking lot in quick time. I think we were the last to leave.
