Default VAG Programing

Has anyone programed their 2007 A4's yet with any programing software out there? Im interested in getting that damn seatbelt chime off and getting my windows to roll up and down with the key fob.

Great deal on your cable. I opted for the Ross-Tech and is on its way. I heard through another forum (navplus.us) that the Ross-Tech cables have less driver and configuration problems with the com ports. Also, within the cable, there is authentication hardware to use their software and get support. If yours work, then you saved about 250+ bucks!!

Once I get the cable and test it, I will let you know.

Cheers

Hey Stylesx,

Just received my Ross-Tech cable and tested it with my tablet. Works (read and tested the connection). Since my car was previously programmed by another person. I did not have to program it. Any luck with your cable?

Cheers

Worked like a charm !

This is what i modified:

1. Seatbelt sounds and dashboard light for 6 seconds when car starts and then stops.

2. My key now ups and downs the windows

3. When i turn my bixenon lights on i no longer have the amber turn signals on, they only turn on when i put my turn signal on.

4. I also added the headlight notification light on my dashboard to show me when my lights are on.

Glad to head that your ebay cable worked. It's nice having some of the features listed in the convenience menu.

Forgive me for my ignorance here (newbie), but where would i be able to get the VAG software that would then allow me to control my entire car as described above (seat bealt chimes etc.)?
