Default suspenion squeek

does anyone have a remedy for an awful ticking squeek when the suspension travels up down.it sounds so dry.would it be a shock absorber/upper tower?

Could be the control arm. There's a squeeking coming from my car and my mechanic diagnosed it as the left front upper control arm. I remove my front wheel and the bushings look shot! I think it's a fairly common problem with Audi's.,

I had the problem with my A4 too. It was the control arm bushings. My car was just out of warranty so I convinced the dealer to split the $2000 cost. They put in a more recent design and it was fine.
Good Luck

When I removed my wheel, it was very obvious which one was squeeking.
