Exclamation Scammer alert!

First off, can the mods please sticky this thread in the Audi Classifieds section please? I think it would help the users out.

This is a thread to report any scammers in the classifieds section.

I had a WTB ad put up asking for used coilovers for my B5. A guy tried to scam me by telling me he had KW V1 coilovers for only 400 bucks.
I told him ok, lets do it through paypal.
He said no paypal because his bank denies Paypal transactions (BS. Its because you can dispute Paypal transactions if you get scammed)
He wanted to do it through Western Union (Can't get help if you get scammed)
After being hesitant about doing the deal he told me.. "Okay fine, just send over 100 bucks, I'll ship the coilovers and you can send the 300 when you receive them. I'll take a GAMBLE ON YOU"... sketchy

He had no intention of sending me anything. I told him to make a video of him shipping the coilovers and when I get the video i'll send him the payment in full. He said yeah sure and then I never heard back from him again. This was a few months ago. Then the moron texts me yesterday offering the same coilovers. I recognized him and called him out on being a scammer and sure enough.. I was right.

This guy lurks through the WTB ads on this forum and messages ppl saying he has the parts you need for cheap. Don't be fooled!

His cell number is +1(707) 515-0376 and lives near San Diego, California. He sent his Western Union info with the name Richard Vance.

Also don't forget to never send Paypal money as a gift to strangers. If you send money as a gift Paypal can not open a dispute if you get scammed (reason being you didn't get anything in return if its a "gift"). Just pay the Paypal fees! Its much safer.
Don't send money through Western Union either as you are not protected through them.

Good luck guys! And please share any info you have on scammers we need to avoid!
