Anybody go to the dealer and have a definitive response/ correction? Or is it software related and not hardware?

So have taken my car to Audi to look into the issue. The driver side light would calibrate going up and down a few times randomly while driving. It would then stop at a very low dipped level. No error code on the dash or in the system.

Audi called to say they could not reproduce. As I drove to pick up the car and arrived, they said that they witnessed the calibration up and down and would need time to fix.

Audi replaced one of the modules for $600 which they say was the problem. The also reset the whole system.

Week later the lights again when in to the calibration dance, except now both lights did it with the driver side stopping at the dipped location while the right side was a bit high and to the right. Audi again looking at it. No errors anywhere in the system.

Any one heard of this happening before? I was talking to someone and they stated it could be the rear sensor causing the issue but I told Audi and they scoffed at the idea. It also seemed to occur in damp weather, however this last time it was not damp.

Hello everyone,
so I have an Audi s4 2013 and I’ve had no major issue whatsoever, recently I had the adaptive headlight error code pop up on my dash. I tested the adaptive headlight by turning the wheel and they worked just fine and they still currently do but the code is there. One thing I’ve noticed that happens usually after I’m done driving is that I have a strange noise coming from the drivers side headlight after a minute it’s gone, no one seems to have mentioned this so far so if anyone has any clue how to fix it or know what to do, please let me know!
Also I’ve taken the headlight apart for the most part and saw nothing wrong, no corrosion and all wires are still intact

Thank you!

I went to the dealer who checked and did not find any codes, so asked me to monitor. It seems that this is a more common problem than I thought, as more people are having such issues.
