2002 S6 or 2005 Allroad?
hi all,
Importing in the next few weeks one of the following:
2002 S6, 4.2, tip, black on back 100K $16000
2005 Allrpad 2.7T, 6spd, black on black no ugly trim, $18000
So, with a APR chip in the allroad, which would you take? I drive in the snow in BC a fair bit, but I would not be useing either car offroad. Is the tip that bad in the s6? an allroad is really just an a6 with an s4 motor no?
your advice is going to good use.
thanks!
Blair

yea, I love the V8 too, and yes it would be an s6 avant.
is it true that the allroads handle like sh*t? or will I still be able to carve corners on the lowest setting?
hmmm, time to line up some test drives.....
thanks,
Blair

no idea on the handling...but I imagine its WAY softer than an S6. The AllRoad was more for comfort than for speed. Hey...did you know there are actually V8 AllRoads too?
I reckon if handling makes you smile, and the v8 makes you smile, you should get into an S6. Or (gasp) an RS6. What do the old RS6 sell for now in the US?
