Default 15" OEM offset - Need Help

Need help!

I purchased a set of 205/65 R15 winter tires and OEM rims, however they did not fit 2003 A4 Avant (the offset was not correct and they were pushing on my calipers). Does it matter that my car had all the sport upgrades?

I don’t know what the offset of the rims are, and am trying to resell them to someone else but don’t want to give anyone the shaft.

Is there any way to tell the offset from looking at the rim? Not sure what year car the rims came off.

I have someone asking me now so any help would be great
