Sonax in Canada
Hi Guys,
A while back I saw a thread on another friendly forum in which they mentioned Sonax Products. I know Sonax from Germany since I am originally from there. I was curious about especially their Sonax Wheel Cleaner since my Q5 is producing more than enough brake dust. I contacted Sonax Germany to find out if they have a distributor here in Cananda (shipping from the US is not always working for me). And yes, they have a new Wholesaler here JRP INC. (JRP - Canada & USA Supplier of Aftermarket Performance Parts) in Mississauga, ON. I got in touch with Derek at JRP, met him in his shop and he was so kind to give me some products to try out. Very happy with it.
See image below.
Clockwise from top left:
brake dust Q5, apply Sonax Wheel Cleaner (green), Sonax Wheel Cleaner turns red on contact with metal, good rinse and some brushing.
Thanks again Derek!
PS: I am not affiliated with JRP in anyway.

Re: Sonax in Canada
I've been using Armor All Rim Protectant from Canadian Tire for about 3 months now.
It's $12.99 for a can and it will do about 2 cars if applied properly. After you clean the your wheels it does take about an hour to set but after three or four washes brake dust and other dust and dirt still just doesn't stick to my wheels. I even tried it on my exhaust tips and zero to very little carbon build up appears. What does show sprays off very easily with no scrubbing. I've never been a fan of Armor All products before, but this stuff really works.
P.S. Whoever wrote the "1 star" rating on the CT website obviously can't read, write or follow instructions.
