LED foglights on B5 A4

Re: LED foglights on B5 A4
Ok, been away for awhile fournd some time to write this up.
Well first things first i used 10 LED's from LEDs - underbody kits, cathodes, flexible LED strips, dome lights the 4 chip superflux LED's.
Once you got those pull the bumper grills out, i found only one are on the grills to drill holes for the LED's. If you can fit more in go for it i just threw it together quickly. next you wanna measure or eyeball the where to drill holes for the LED's depending how picky you are, then grab a drill, and a drill thats slightly smaller the the LED you can see there's a little ridge for mounting it. Once you got the holes drilled fit the LED's in place and check that placement is good. Silicone or superglue the lights in place so they won't fall out.
Now your gonna need roughly 10 feet of speaker wire to run to the dash of the car. Where you run the wires is up to you but make sure there clear of the fans and the engine. I have a sub in my car so i ran the wires through the fire wall where the shop ran the power wire for ths sub through, or u can run them up into the ecu box then through the fire wall.
I recommend wrapping the speaker wire in the black plastic tubing to keep it from getting damaged. as for a switch you can run them through the stock fog light switch or add a toggle, rocker switch to one of the blank spots above the radio. i used a toggle switch to make it easy. once all of the wires are run you can wire all the negative wires together and positives too, then wire them to the speaker wires and saulder them together and wrap the sauder joint with electrical tape. You can pop the grills back in place so that there not dangling.
now as for wiring it up to the switch and ground i got an electrician buddy of mine to wire it up while i was away but i'm gonna check in a few days and write up that part once i figure out wut he did, it should be simple though.

Re: LED foglights on B5 A4
Hey guys, I like this mod too and will be doing it myself... will look into replacing my factory foglights on my S4 with these strips available on ebay... I'm thinking they'll be a be more resistant to weather, but we'll see:
look up on ebay: Audi-Benz-New-12-LED-Car-Truck-White-Day-Fog-Light
they are only $14 or so... I will post pics/mods/diy instructions soon.

i recently grabbed a set of the LED H7 replacement bulbs that i threw in my foglights.
