Re: Waterloo Area People
Yea I've got tips now... did it for like $100 at Zorro Muffler in Hamilton.
I bottom'd out on a curb leaving a parking lot and it busted my exhaust... I sound like Nascar coming down the street.... so I might aswell just upgrade since I probably need some new piping anyways.
Yea, my Mechanic in Grimsby recommended that guy in Georgetown.... its right next to the Audi Dealership too isn't it?

Re: Waterloo Area People
Thanks!
Silver on Black / Premium, Convenience Package, Bluetooth. Was a dealer car, has 24,000km from Vancouver. Asking 36,900, ended up paying about 32900 out the door + winter floor mats.
The car is CPO, so I went for it...my first German car to be honest, and am quite excited.
Because I am in such angst, I went to the local Audi dealer and drove a B8. Wow that car is amazing...maybe in 4 years =)
I never did get around to driving the B7 (it was a phone deal with family back home signing papers). I did drive the B8 at the local Audi dealer...I was impressed with how quiet and smooth the car is at idle. I once drove the 1.8T and coming from a less "sporty" background, the louder idle wasn't exactly my type of car. Is the B7's idle as quiet as the B8 (vibration, noise etc). Thanks!

Re: Waterloo Area People
Actually, i'm the most boring person you'll meet....I am planning some very "difficult" mods (to me). All joking aside, the stupid cigarette lighter that stays on really ticks me off. I leave GPS and stuff plugged in, which means I have to hardwire all of that stuff now. I bought a bunch of fuse splices and stuff and have to wire all that GRR junk in...
Can't say I'm going to do any mods because i've never done any. I'm more of that relaxed "German" type of driving...although I did take a X5 to 240km/hr once back in BC...doo doo doo...what can I say, a 4.4L V8 with sports suspension + no limiter...well....can't pull that stuff in Ontario....haha
