Audi Repair Shops to be avoided!!
I decided to start a thread on people's experiences with Repair Shops that cost you lots of money and you just end up getting your car back in worse condition.
This is in light of a conversation we were having on another thread...will post my experience shortly...

DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR TO AUDI DOWNTOWN!!! They are butchers!
Because of them, I have some "issue" with my speed sensor in the front driver's side. So now my ABS is constantly engaging. And when I had originally brought it back there when the ABS started acting up, they couldn't figure it out...made me buy a $1,000 new ABS module for no f**king reason!!!!
They are over priced and are really a pathetic excuse for customer service and technicians.
And I asked them if I should do a transmission flush on my automatic S4...they said that I was pretty much stupid for even considering it and that it has a lifetime warranty. Um, is that why all the parts are replaceable? Because they're NOT supposed to be replaced?? Riiiiiight.
So then I asked if the transmission itself had a lifetime warranty, lol...and he said no. Why? Because they rather the transmission blow up and you spend even MORE money replacing the tranny instead of just doing a flush in the first place.

Re: Audi Repair Shops to be avoided!!
OWASCO: in Whitby MUST be avoided as they are probaly where the Audi Downtown people learned how to screw their customers
AUTOHOUSE: have the personality of a shoe-lace when it comes to dealing with customers
PFAFF: I have heard bad things about them, but I have no opinion
AUTOBAHN East: in Ajax, Mark Earl is a BMW expert but he fixed (my A4) for $52 what OWASCO has F$%&ed me out of thousands! Autobahn East Home
Does this help?!

As for Pfaff having a bad reputation...the only thing I have heard is that they are ridiculously overpriced.
They have a lot of things for Audi, so you could go shopping there but then buy it somewhere else or take parts to be installed somewhere else. Sometimes they are almost double the price than other places.
As for the actual work they do, I also have no opinion because my wallet isn't big enough to go there, lol.
