Default How to remove front license plate holder?

Does anyone know how to remove front license plate holder? After removal, is there any screw hole left?

Thanks.

I dont know about the 2010 model but on my A4 if i were to take of the cover
there would be 8 holes, i know that cause i tried taking it off.

maybe something you can get touched up though.

Huh? On a 2010 A6 like yours this should have been removed during the 'dealer preparation' process.

There is a replacement cover for the front license plate which is flush after you remove the one that has the license plate housing. It is all clipped in, need lot's of silicone to get it off and be careful.
